Who is Arda?

Arda (38) spent 17 years in the mobile industry since the commercial launch of GSM and played a key role as an evangelist for Mobile Marketing & Advertising mainly in Turkey, Eastern Europe, Iberia, Middle East and Russia/C.I.S countries since 2001.


He is the co-founder of Mobilera B.V., one of the leading mobile services provider with headquarters in The Netherlands and offices in U.K., Turkey, Portugal, Kazakhstan, U.A.E., Jordan and Bulgaria with around 100 employees.


Mobilera has implemented numerous interactive projects for hundreds of brands and quickly became the clear choice for top global advertisers such as Coca-Cola, Unilever, P&G, Carrefour, Nike, Kraft, Gillette and many more, thanks to its wide variety of propositions and extensive know-how.


The second pioneering was in Mobile Community Marketing Services. This unique and innovative proposition opened up a brand new world for many operators around the world. Arda launched 6 different segmented mobile community programs for 5 GSM operators and a 7th one will be launched very soon in the Middle East.


Currently more than 25 million subscribers (a.k.a. ”members”) are enjoying these new experiences. Arda also initiated a company “BOOM” under Mobilera’s umbrella in 2007, which is a Mobile Advertising Specialist, aiming to help on/off portal publishers to mobilize, ad-enable and monetize their assets & inventories to its maximum


Arda still is a "Member of Global Board of Directors" of MMA, as well as the Vice-Chairman of EMEA Board, where he was elected for three consecutive years (2007/2008/2009).


He also attended almost all Mobile Marketing Forums in EMEA region since 2006, where he contributed both personally as a keynote speaker and as member of the grand jury for MMA Award Programmes, as well as brought many leading brands speakers such as Nike and Kraft to share their joint best practices at MMA Forums, in order to spread the word. Arda formed a group at Facebook named "Mobile Marketing & Advertising" where currently 900 professionals around the world share their ideas and collaborate to bring the industry to where it really deserves.
